So, I am really proud of myself as I have managed to get about 11 meals (plus other things) for under $54.00.
This includes:
4 beef roasts ($1.47/lb)
2 large packages of chicken wings ($1/lb)
2 packages of chicken breasts ($1/lb)
2 Digiorno Supreme pizzas
1 Stouffer's Family size enchilada meal
1 package of hot pockets
1 bottle of Juicy Juice
1 loaf of sandwich bread
1 bag of salad
1 quart of ice cream and
Various produce (Bananas, apples, grapes, green and red peppers, cucumbers, onions)
The biggest bargain on my receipt has to be the fact that I paid $9.39 for the Stouffer's Family Meal (never tried before...I will let you know how it is) and the store gave me $12.16 worth of food for free. All because I bought the family meal.
Here is the break down....
I bought the Stouffer's meal for $11.39 which then allowed me to use the store's promotion and get the following for free:
1 loaf of bread ($1.69)
1 bag of salad ($2.19)
1 box of Hot Pocket Paninis ($2.49)
1 quart of ice cream ($2.50)
1 bottle of Juicy Juice ($3.29)
All of this free stuff totals $12.16. Then, I had a coupon for $1.00 off the Stouffer's meal and $1.00 coupon of the Juicy Juice (which was already free to begin with). Therefore, the above 6 items cost me only $9.39. Not a bad deal at all!
