Today was filled with a cloudy sky and some rain. It was a good day to stay inside to catch up on laundry and do a few other things around the house. I also had time to make applesauce in the crockpot. It was delicious. Here are a few pictures from my apple production.
The applesauce was very easy to make. All you do is peel, core and quarter 12-16 apples. Put the quartered apples in the crockpot with 1/4 cup water. Cook on low for 4 hours. After 4 hours, mash the apples to the desired consistency. I also added less than 1/8 cup brown sugar and a small amount of cinnamon. It tasted just like the filling from an apple pie! Yummmmmm!
