We have a new family addition...no, it is not a baby! LOL We have adopted a small dog (6 and a half pounds) from our local animal shelter. His name is Twix and he is a 1 year old miniature schnauzer. I think he may have a little yorkie mixed in him as well though. It turns out that the day we went to the animal shelter was his last day to be claimed by his owner. After that time passes, it is possible that he could have been euthanized. Thank goodness we got to the shelter when we did or we may not have ever met him. Amazingly, he is potty trained and is great with the kids. Hopefully, he will continue to be on his best behavior. Take a looksie....

It was down to Snickers and Twix. It came to a vote between all of us and it was decided that he will be called Twix. He has nicknames such as Twixie, Mr. T, Tito, Buddy....lol
