Christmas Shopping.....

When I was younger, my favorite time of the year was summer because of summer vacations and no school, of course! But as I have gotten older (and I am no longer in school) my favorite time of the year is definitely the months of November and December. Thanksgiving, Christmas and the things that come during the holiday season make me so happy! I love the meaning of both holidays and how close it brings families together. I love the smell of the pumpkin flavored breads and apple cinnamon scented candles this season brings. I love all of the fall festivals and craft fairs that I am able to go to. I love taking the kids to see Santa and how the magic of the season puts a smile on the faces of my loved ones. But, I also have one guilty pleasure that I will admit to really loving during the holiday season. I really, really love that I can wake up at zero dark thirty on Black Friday and get great deals on the Christmas gifts that I plan on giving. I love that I get to go out to breakfast with the family members that decide to come with me, that I can be done shopping no later than noon on this day and that I am in my pajamas and eating leftovers from the night before by dinner time. I always say that I am going to be done with my Christmas shopping no later than the day after Thanksgiving, but it nevers happens. So, to make sure that I am done Christmas shopping no later than Black Friday, I would just like to say that I have officially started Christmas shopping. Ho, ho, ho!!!
